ASL In The  Garden

A wonderful team of enthusiastic students and their parents from The American School in London gave our garden a much needed tidy on Sunday. The school who are long standing supporters of the Hospice repositioned some of our large plant pots, populated them with red berries and ivy, planted crocus bulbs and tulip bulbs, raked, pruned, and weeded and generally cleaned up the flower beds.

The Garden now looks very festive in plenty of time for Christmas at the Hospice. Pam who coordinated the group sai;

“It was a dry and warm day so everything went very smoothly; we even finished quicker than usually in just a few hours”.

Twice a year, the school has a community service day where families go out into the community together to help. It is also a huge help to our two resident, volunteer gardeners, especially in autumn when there are hundreds of leaves falling from the trees. They said;

“We love having the school come along and refresh our garden which is loved by all patients and staff.”
