Use Discounted Will Service and Help our Hospice

MAWF 2016

This April we are working with our partner solicitors so you can safeguard the future of the people and things you care about; you can have your Will professionally written at a discount, gain peace of mind and support our work at the same time.

Make a Will Fortnight in 3 simple steps:

  • Contact one of the participating firms shown on the leaflet during April 18-29 and make an appointment. Please mention St John’s Hospice’s ‘Make a Will Fortnight’.
  • Attend your appointment and make or amend your standard Will. Fill out the form that you can find online or that your solicitor will provide.
  • The participating firms will kindly not charge you for their time but will invite you to make a suggested donation to St John’s Hospice of £150 for a single Will and £250 for a joint or mirror Wills.

There is no obligation to leave a gift in your Will to St John’s when you use this service, but we are very grateful to those who do. Every gift makes a difference, but by including a gift in your Will to St John’s you enable us to plan ahead for the future with the knowledge that we will have funds in place to continue to deliver our expert palliative care services completely free of charge to the local community.

Whether you have been thinking about writing a Will, or you have already written one but would like to update it, our Make a Will Fortnight can help you. Our participating solicitors are happy to answer any questions you may have. There will also be advice on hand at our Legacy Morning on April 13. Please do let us know if you will join us from 10:30AM in our Day Centre by contacting Emma by This email address is being protected from spambots. We are very grateful to Seddons Solicitors, Attwells Solicitors LLP, Hodge Jones & Allen LLP and Wills Probate & Trusts for their time and support.
