Light Up A Life 2011

This year’s Light up a Life event was held on 8 December and to those that were able to join us, we hope it was fulfilling for you as it was for many who have since come back to us and given us positive feedback.
Supporters, friends, families and the local community gathered together for the service at the St John Wood Church and later were lead by the Lord Mayor Cllr Sussie Burbridge in a procession carrying candles along the high street to the Hospice.
The Christmas lights were switched on by Guy Genney, while the Sylvia Young Choir sang carols in the background.
The event raised over £13,000 and we would like to thank everyone who supported us during this event.
For those who have dedicated a Star, the Wall of Stars will still be on display in the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth until mid-January and can be viewed at anytime.
For those who were unable to dedicate a star, you can still dedicate on by downloading and completing the form here.
