Paint the Park Pink raises £20,000

We raised an incredible £20,000 on Saturday at Paint the Park Pink, our annual 5k walk!

Over 150 walkers took on the scenic 5k route around Regents’ Park to raise valuable funds for St John’s.

The walk started from the Hospice with an ‘in memory’ balloon release where hundreds of pink and white balloons filled the sky with dedications attached.  Children, families and even their dogs went all out as they dressed in pink to walk the route, followed by a delicious BBQ and refreshments back at the Hospice.

Official sponsors, Marsh and Parsons gave out goodies to guests and were joined by a face painter who delighted children with glittery designs.

There was also prize for the best dressed dog, which was won Elsa the Cava-poo for her pink ribbons and stripped jumper!

CEO Caroline Fox said ‘I am so pleased that so many families and staff came along to support the Hospice, we have raised a record amount and it has been a perfect start to our Summer fundraising events!’
