Hospice@Home wins awards!

 St John's Hospice's Hospice@Home service has scooped a prestigious nationwide award.

Judges lavished praise on the support given to vulnerable patients across Central and NW London, including Hampstead, Hampstead and St Johns Wood, by the Hospice's healthcare assistants.

They awarded the Hospice@Home team the title of Domiciliary/Home Healthcare Provider 2012 at the Independent Healthcare Awards, beating hundreds of rivals.

Judges for event organised by healthcare intelligence provider Laing & Buisson singled out St John’s Hospice highlighting, “its highly tailored approach to the very delicate subject of patients dying in the comfort of their homes.”

This is the first time that the Hospice has been nominated for an award. CEO of the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth David Marshall commented: ‘This is a fantastic achievement by the team and has certainly given the Charity and especially St John’s Hospice the reward they deserve for their tireless work in stressful situations.”
