At St John's we appreciate the increasing pressure experienced by companies to demonstrate social responsibility within their community.
Supporting a charity such as St John's Hospice is a great way to demonstrate corporate social responsibility to your stakeholders, customers and employees.
The majority of customers and employees like to feel that they are giving something back to society; because of this they tend to be far more loyal to companies who actively demonstrate their support of a good cause.
St John's is a cause that people can relate to. Sadly, nearly everyone will know of someone who has suffered from a life threatening illness such as cancer. Giving support to an organisation such as ours will have a positive impact on the way your company is perceived by your employees and customers as well as the wider community you operate in.
St John's has established itself as a leader in its field and has a strong presence within the community that it serves. In a recent report by The King's Fund* we were found to provide "a model of palliative care that should be replicated throughout the country”.
• We are unique in the country for our mix of both HIV and cancer patients
• We are the preferred HIV provider for the all of the West London Primary Health Trusts; The South Eastern referral centre for Motor Neurone Disease and the Southern referral centre for Variant CJD
• We are a training centre for junior doctors in all aspects of Palliative Care
• We have an enviable reputation - a leader in our field and a centre of excellence, making use of cutting edge of technology to ensure that we deliver the very best care we possibly can to all our patients
As a smaller charity we will be able to offer a higher degree of exclusivity when it comes to sponsorship.
• Recognition of support in all event literature
• Recognition of support in any press releases
We can also offer PR opportunities through acknowledgement in our Newsletter, website and Annual Review. A partnership with us will allow you to develop a relationship within the community by engaging customers with the company and by being actively seen to be giving back to the community.
