About this role

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Coordinator to join our team at St John's Hospice. The post holder will assist the smooth running and development of the Fundraising team and will work on day to day administrative tasks including donation coding, recording, thanking, researching new prospects and supporting with various fundraising activities. The post holder will develop and maintain the systems and processes within the department.

What are the key duties?

  • Assist with all fundraising administration to ensure all systems and processes are up to date
  • Ensure all data is held under GDPR regulations and regularly monitored
  • Assisting with recording donations received, thank appropriately
  • To support with all areas of community & individual fundraising and volunteer management. This will include, managing donation points/ collection tins, volunteer scheduling, thanking supporters, keeping all records organised, sending appropriate fundraising materials to supporters
  • Support with administration of fundraising campaigns and event
  • Assist with all in memory gifts administration including renewal dates for Giving Tree leaves
  • Deal appropriately with incoming and outgoing correspondence and calls

Am I the right person for this role?

  • Experience of working in charity sector, hospice or healthcare environment is desirable
  • Administration experience
  • Database/ CRM/ Payment portal management is desirable
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to details
  • Knowledge of all main Office 365 suite and CRM Systems
  • Work with a diverse group of individuals
  • Confident self-starter and team player
