Celebrate the life of someone special and give in their memory. Your gift will enable their compassion and kindness to live on whilst creating moments of joy for all those we care for.

Give in memory of someone special

A gift to St John’s can be a wonderful, thoughtful way to celebrate the memory of a loved one.

Whether you choose to make a donation in their memory, set up a personal tribute page, dedicate one of our St John's Butterflies or a leaf on our Giving Tree, or organise a funeral collection you will be enabling us to continue being there for all those who need us.

We accept donations via cash or cheque, made out to ‘St John’s Hospice’. Kindly include a note stating who the gift is in memory of and send it to Fundraising Department, St John’s Hospice, 60 Grove End Road, London, NW8 9NH.

Dedicate a leaf on our Giving Tree

The St John’s Giving Tree is pride of place at the entrance to the hospice, serving as a reminder of those we love and have made a difference in our lives. Your leaf will act as a lasting tribute of your loved one, with their name engraved on a bronze, silver or gold leaf.

Set up a tribute page

A personal tribute page is a unique way to remember your loved one while supporting the hospice. It is your own space to post messages, memories, photos and raise vital funds so we can continue to care for more people in the community.

Join our annual celebration of life

Each December we host our annual ‘Light Up a Life’ service. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together with your family, friends and loved ones to remember and celebrate the life of someone special.

Funeral collections

You may wish to ask family and friends to limit flowers and ask for donations to St John’s in memory of your loved one instead. If you would like to collect donations at a funeral or memorial service we can provide you with collection tins and envelopes. Please request these by emailing fundraising@hje.org.uk.

Your collection can be paid in online or by calling 020 7806 4011. Cheques can be made payable to ‘St John’s Hospice’ and should be sent to: Fundraising Department, St John’s Hospice, 60 Grove End Road, London, NW8 9NH. Please ask your friends and family to include a note stating who the gift is in memory of.
