About St John’s Hospice

St John’s Hospice, is an independent charity located within the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in St John’s Wood, providing specialised palliative care to more than 4,000 terminally-ill patients and their families every year.

Care at St John’s Hospice

Care at St John’s Hospice is underpinned by a respect for human dignity and care for the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and emotional needs of the total person, whatever their age, lifestyle, culture and spiritual belief.

"Being in the hospice gave me space. I was in a place surrounded by beautifully benevolent people. It doesn't matter to them who you are, they are so professional, they are so understanding."
