London Landmarks Half Marathon

Join Team St John’s for the 2026 London Landmarks Half and explore a half marathon route like no other!

About the event

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster. From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city's quirky and hidden secrets, you'll get to explore the capital on a route like no other!

The 13.1-mile course is mostly flat, making it ideal for beginners and seasoned runners aiming for a personal best. By joining Team St John’s, you'll also be helping us to enable people to live well for longer.

"I found taking on a challenge during a period of grief extremely cathartic so I would particularly encourage those who are going through a difficult time to consider it - not only are you supporting this amazing and vital charity but you are looking out for yourself too."

Why run for St John’s?

As part of Team St John’s, you will receive:

  • A free hospice-branded technical running vest.
  • A London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 finisher’s medal.
  • One-on-one support and mentoring to help you with your fundraising.
  • Regular newsletters with all our latest news and activities.
  • On the day support from our dedicated staff and volunteers at our race day cheer point.

Most importantly, your fundraising will make a real difference in the community. You’ll help us reach more people and provide vital care, whether it’s supporting a child through bereavement counselling, funding an art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre or helping families with respite care.

How your support helps

  • £25 could fund a bereavement counselling session for a patient's loved one, providing them with much needed support at the toughest time.
  • £50 could fund a group art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre, enabling our patients to learn new skills, express themselves and above all else, relax and have fun with one another.
  • £250 could fund a day of expert nursing care from a Healthcare Assistant in our Inpatient Unit.
  • £500 could fund 24-hour at-home nursing care for a patient who wants to remain in familiar and comforting surroundings in the later stages of their illness.
