Celebrate 40 years of our hospice and dedicate an anniversary jasmine
Join in the celebrations and dedicate one of our hand-crafted 40th anniversary jasmines to someone special or as a reminder of your ongoing support of our hospice.
The jasmine flower and its beautiful scent have long been associated with moments of reflection and happy memories, making it the perfect symbol of our fortieth year.
To celebrate this special occasion and all the happy memories made over the last 40 years, we have worked with sculptor James Sutton to create 400 special anniversary jasmine flowers.
For a suggested minimum donation of £40, you can personalise one of these jasmines with a dedication to someone special or with the name of your family, school, business or foundation to act as a reminder of your ongoing support of St John’s. Your jasmine will then be included in a beautiful display of our community's generosity at our anniversary party in June.
Each of the 400 jasmines have been lovingly hand-crafted and painted by James at his workshop and their creation has been made possible thanks to the generosity of long-standing supporters, Dorchester Collection. This means that all funds raised through their dedication can go directly to our work.
Whether it is supporting a child with a bereavement counselling session following the loss of a loved one, providing art therapy for patients at our new Wellbeing Centre, or providing specialist one-to-one nursing on our Inpatient Unit.
Our 40th anniversary jasmines will help to have a lasting impact on our hospice and ensure we can continue being there for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families when they need it most.

Please note, that all jasmines will be included in our display on Wednesday 26 June 2024, therefore, you will not receive yours before this date. Following the party, we will contact you to arrange collection so that you can cherish your personalised jasmine at home forever.
