Building an inclusive future: We’re proud to achieve our Investors in Diversity Bronze UK accreditation

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded our Investors in Diversity Bronze UK accreditation by the National Centre for Diversity, marking an important milestone in our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

‍

The Investors in Diversity award recognises organisations that are actively working to create fairer, more inclusive cultures. It is underpinned by the FREDIE Framework, promoting Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement, which goes beyond traditional EDI approaches by embedding these values into organisational culture, leadership, and systems.

‍

Bronze represents the first of three stages within the accreditation framework. By achieving this Bronze status, we have demonstarted that we have laid strong foundations by putting in place essential diversity and inclusion policies, developing inclusive leadership practices, and evidencing our commitment to continuous improvement. This recognition reflects our dedication not only as a care provider but also as an employer and a place to volunteer, where people feel valued, respected, and supported.

‍

The accreditation process has provided valuable insight into our strengths while helping us identify opportunities to further enhance inclusion across our organisation. It confirms that we are on the right path and reinforces our responsibility to ensure fairness and engagement are embedded in everything we do.

‍

With this achievement, we are now beginning our journey towards the Investors in Diversity Silver award, continuing to build on our progress and striving for even greater excellence in diversity and inclusion. We look forward to updating you on our progress soon!
