About the event
The stunning 13.1-mile route takes in many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
It is a generally flat course making it perfect for both beginners and experienced runners chasing a personal best. What’s more, by running as part of Team St John’s, you will be helping us to provide quality, holistic care when it is needed most.
Our charity places are now filled. Sign up to our waitlist to hear if a spot becomes available. Alternatively, if you were lucky enough to gain a spot in the ballot and wish to run for St John's Hospice, we’d love to welcome you to the team. Please let us know by completing the form above so that we can support you along the way.

It was an amazing day and knowing that I helped raise over £800 is even better. It is a place I have worked many shifts as a nurse. Seeing the work the team does every day, the relationships built and the support they give to the community, well...I am proud to be a part of it and to support them in this special way."
Why run for St John’s?
As part of Team St John’s you will receive:
- A free hospice-branded technical running vest.
- An Royal Parks Half 2026 finisher’s medal.
- One-on-one support and mentoring to help you with your training and fundraising.
- On the day support and cheering from our dedicated staff and volunteers.
Most importantly, your fundraising will make a real difference in the community. You’ll help us reach more people and provide vital care, whether it’s supporting a child through bereavement counselling, funding an art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre or helping families with respite care.
How your support helps
Your brilliant fundraising total of £375 could fund all of the below:
- Help support our Grief Café, which provides a welcoming space where recently bereaved people can come together over a cup of tea, share their experiences of loss, and connect with others who understand.
- A bereavement counselling session for a patient's loved one, providing compassionate support when they need it most.
- Four physiotherapy sessions, helping a patient maintain or rebuild their strength and live as independently and fully as possible.
- A day of Hospice@Home care, enabling a patient to remain in the comfort of their own home during the later stages of their illness while also providing valuable respite for their carers.
