About the event
The iconic London Marathon takes in many of the city’s incredible landmarks. With thousands of supporters lining the streets cheering your name, it is a race like no other. You will get to run the streets of the capital in a closed-road race, with the famous route starting at Greenwich and finishing at the Mall.
You’ll run past some of the most well-known landmarks that London has to offer, including Cutty Sark, the Shard, Tower Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. It is also one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, so this could be the start of your six-star journey!
If you already have a place and would like to fundraise for us, we’d love to welcome you to the team. There is no minimum fundraising target or registration fee for own place runners. Please let us know by completing the form above so that we can support you along the way.
“I could run these marathons for the rest of my life, and it couldn’t pay St John’s back for the priceless care they gave to Michael and us. We take comfort in the care and support provided to him and so, to be able to give something back for that gift was something I had to do. It has allowed us to take something positive from such a devastating time and I highly recommend it to anyone in the same position.”
