Our Big Give Christmas Challenge is officially live!

Every donation made to our Big Give Christmas Challenge will be doubled! Donate before midday on Tuesday 9 December, and help us to extend our admissions to provide endless care.

Evenings and weekends make up more than 75% of the week. Yet during these crucial hours, people living with life-limiting illnesses and the loved ones who care for them often struggle to access essential palliative care.

Health can deteriorate suddenly and without warning. When this happens, families may have no option but to rely on emergency hospital care or try to cope alone while their loved one suffers unnecessarily. Delays in hospice transfers can mean people miss out on the specialist support and comfort they deserve, especially in their final moments.

We’re determined to change this.

With your help, we aim to extend our Inpatient Unit admissions to seven days a week, ensuring people can access specialist palliative care whenever they need it — including out of hours.

Your donation will help:

- Reduce unwanted emergency hospital visits

- Ease pressure and stress on carers

- Support more people to remain in their preferred place of care

When you donate to our Big Give Christmas Challenge, your gift goes twice as far, making an even greater difference to the families we support.

During the campaign, we’re aiming to raise £75,000. Thanks to generous match funding from our Big Give Champion, The Reed Foundation, and our Big Give Pledgers, The Alan Davidson Foundation, Aspect Capital, The Patrick and Helena Frost Foundation, and Radiocoms, every pound you give will be doubled, helping us raise up to £150,000 in total.

For your donation to qualify for match funding, you must give online between midday on Tuesday 2 December and midday on Tuesday 9 December 2025. Unfortunately, cash, cheques, CAF or Charities Trust vouchers cannot be accepted.
