This Hospice Care Week, we caught up with our Inpatient Unit Manager Bee to hear how she supports patients and their loved ones across North London, debunking some of the misconceptions about hospice care in the process.

This Hospice Care Week, we’ll be shining a light on some of the people who make St John’s what it is and sharing their stories. First up is Renate, one of our brilliant complementary therapists, who has been supporting patients and their loved ones at St John’s for over 18 years.

The festive season is fast approaching and in anticipation, we have launched a new range of cards, gift wrap and charity gifts over on our online shop. 

We are proud to be partnered with The Paddington Partnership, an organisation connecting corporate volunteers with local charities, schools and community groups to create meaningful impact throughout the local community.

Join us on Wednesday 25 October for an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and an auction at the iconic Abbey Road Studios to raise funds to support our amazing hospice.

We are delighted to share that we have received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and a private donor to launch a new music therapy programme in partnership with City of London Sinfonia.

Last month, our brilliant supporter Angela decided to take part in our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party celebration, choosing to host her party in memory of her Mum, Pam. We caught up with Angela to hear more about their celebration.

At the end of the month that saw us celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week, we spent a wonderful evening at local member's club, B-Together, giving thanks to our brilliant team of volunteers.
