Our new Grief Café: A welcoming, non-judgemental space to connect and heal

We recognise that grief can take many shapes and follow different timelines. Whether your loss is recent or happened years ago, the road through bereavement can feel isolating, confusing and deeply personal. That is why we are proud to announce the launch of our new Grief Café, a weekly drop-in space designed to bring people together in understanding, companionship and shared compassion.

The Grief Café is a non-judgmental space open to anyone who has experienced a loss connected to St John’s Hospice. The atmosphere is relaxed: you can chat over a hot drink, reflect quietly, or listen as others share. There is absolutely no obligation to speak; sometimes the mere presence of others who “get it” brings the greatest comfort.

  • When: Every Wednesday
  • What time: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
  • Where: St John’s Hospice Wellbeing Centre, 60 Grove End Road, London NW8 9NH.

There is no need to book, just come along when you feel ready.

If you would like any further information before attending, you can contact our friendly team HospiceSWB@hje.org.uk or 020 7806 4017. Alternatively, you can learn more about our bereavement support services available to you by visiting www.stjohnshospice.org.uk/our-care/bereavement-support.
