London Marathon runners raise over £34k for St John’s

A huge congratulations to our amazing Team St John’s runners who participated in the London Marathon at the weekend.

This year was our biggest ever, with a team of 18 runners consisting of colleagues from St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, Westminster City Council and friends and family running in memory of loved ones.

Despite the very wet conditions, our runners managed to keep smiling every step of the way, helped along by the whoops of encouragement from our fantastic cheer squad made up of volunteers, family and friends.

Director of Fundraising Charlotte Locks-Moro said: “This year’s London Marathon team has been outstanding and they should be extremely proud of what they have achieved. Together, they have now raised over £34,000 which will enable us to provide quality, holistic care to even more patients and their families throughout our community.”
