Oh, what a night! The St John's Hospice Gala @ Abbey Road

On Wednesday 25 October, our community came together at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, to raise funds to support our amazing hospice. It was the first event of this kind since the pandemic and truly fantastic to be surrounded by so many of our supporters once again.

We were joined by our hilariously brilliant guest speaker Dr Phil Hammond, a practising doctor, journalist, broadcaster, campaigner, and comedian, and had two auctions with some truly fantastic prizes. These included private dining experiences, holidays in luxury European villas and signed memorabilia, many of which were donated by our wonderful community!

All funds raised on the night helped to kick-start the Winter Appeal and we are delighted to announce that the event raised over £200,000. Thank you to everyone who joined us, bid on auction lots, and donated.

A special thank you must go to Veronica and Riccardo, who joined us for the evening and shared their story with our supporters, highlighting the impact our community services can have for people with life-limiting illnesses and their carers.
