(Own place)

Thanks for choosing to use your place to raise money for St John’s Hospice. If you have not secured a place at one of these events through the official ballot you need to apply for one of our charity places.

As you have your own place you are not required to pay a registration fee nor commit to fundraising for the hospice, though we actively encourage it.

The event

We'd love to know a bit more about what motivated you to use your place to fundraise for St John’s.

We ask this so we can best support you and your training ahead of the event.

Your fundraising

Shop Volunteer Application Form

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at our charity shop in St John’s Wood. Please complete the form below in as much detail as possible to apply for a volunteering position. We allocate places based on the strength of each application and suitability for the role, so please do take your time, and really think about your answer to each question.

Please note you must be aged 16 or over to volunteer in the shop. We will contact you to let you know if you have been successful in your application.

We hope it will never be necessary to use this information, but if something should happen to you whilst you are at St John’s we need to know who to contact.

Volunteering at the shop

We will use this to check suitably within the role and team.

Please note you will need to have a good command of the English language to be considered for this role.

We ask this as we want to ensure we would be able to support you as much as possible in your volunteering.

Having a conviction will not necessarily stop you from volunteering but will need to be taken into consideration when assessing your suitability.

Your availability

Please be aware we ask for a minimum of 3 hours a week for 6 months

Your references

Please give the names and contact details of a person who has given their consent to be contacted. If possible, one referee should be someone who has known you personally, but not a member of your family, for at least three years.
