Introducing our new pet photography competition: Paws for a Cause
Enter our new pet photography competition and snap ‘fur’ St John’s! You'll be supporting us to provide quality, holistic care and have the opportunity to win amazing prizes.
Does your pet have star quality? We’re calling all pet lovers to show off your furry (or not-so-furry!) friends and be in with a chance at winning some prizes. All pets are welcome to join, so whether you have a chatty cockatoo, a dozy dog or a charismatic corn snake, get snapping!
It’s all about celebrating those that we love while raising vital funds for St John’s Hospice. Your participation will help us continue providing quality, holistic care to those who need it most.
The competition, which is proudly sponsored by Medivet St John’s Wood, runs for one week starting Monday 17 March, with entries closing on Sunday 23 March.
Medivet St John’s Wood has been serving our local community since 2019. We are a small team of dedicated professionals striving to provide the best possible care for our patients and clients. We are here for all aspects of your pet’s care providing everything from routine health care visits to advanced surgical procedures and hospitalisation.
You can enter as many pets, photos and categories as you wish, but there is a £2 donation required per entry. All proceeds will go directly towards providing quality, holistic care for those in our community.
The categories:
- Pet Pawtrait : Snap your pet in their element, showing their true personality and living their best life. That could be from snoozing to slithering, swimming to scoffing – a photo that demonstrates who they are is what we’re looking for!
- Zoomies in Focus : Freeze your pet in mid-action, whether they're zooming around, scurrying along, or just having a good play. We’re looking for a dynamic and fun photo that is full of energy.
- Dressed to Impress : Get creative with costumes, props, or accessories! Let your pet strut their stuff in the most stylish or fun attire.
- Double Trouble : Do you and your pet look alike? Does your lizard have the same striking eyes or your guinea pig the same hairdo? Show us the uncanny resemblance in this paw-some lookalike challenge!
By taking part in Paws for a Cause, you will not only have the chance to showcase your beloved companion, but you’ll also join a community of pet lovers coming together to make a difference. Plus, there are exciting prizes up for grabs, including a £100 Amazon voucher for each category winner. Entries open on Monday 17 March and run for just one week, so don’t miss out.
