This year, St John’s Hospice is celebrating 40 years of care! Ahead of May, our official birthday month, we'll be looking back over the last four decades and have some exciting ways you can celebrate with us.

Building on the success of our Easter Trail, we are excited to announce our brand-new event for all the family... the St John’s Hospice Easter Egg-Stravaganza!

We recently caught up with supporters Victoria and James whose connection with St John's has been going strong for almost 30 years! Over the years, their support has taken many forms including taking on challenges and attending events. Since 2001, the pair have donated a percentage of profits from their business Vishana.

Thank you to our wonderful community for helping to spread festive cheer throughout our hospice. From delivering presents and 'Boxes of Love', to making cards and performing carol concerts, our staff, volunteers and patients have been truly spoilt in the run-up to the holidays.

This Winter, we have launched an appeal to expand our community outreach to help combat loneliness and isolation experienced by patients and their carers in our community. Two people who understand the impact these services can have are 38-year-old Veronica and her husband, Riccardo. This is their story.
