We are so excited to introduce a brand new event for 2024. Abseil 200ft down the iconic Senate House for St Johns this October and help people in your community live well, for longer.

The doors to our hospice first opened on 29 May 1984 and someone who has been with us since that very day is our volunteer, Vanessa. Ahead of our 40th Anniversary, we caught up with our longest-standing volunteer to hear more about her experience and what first motivated her to join.

Our annual Mad Hatters Tea Party is back and we are so excited to see how you, our wonderful supporters, are going to get involved this year!

Kristina is one of our wonderful Events and Fundraising Volunteers who will often give up weekends and evenings to support our range of community events. From dressing up as the Easter Bunny to cheering runners on at the London Marathon. Kristina tells us about her experience volunteering with St John’s over the years and what motivated her to apply.

Our CEO, Simon James, has sent a letter to our local MPs asking them to attend the upcoming parliamentary debate on hospice funding and to advocate for St John’s Hospice. Today, we are asking you to do the same.
