Our Big Give Christmas Challenge Campaign is over and we are thrilled to announce that thanks to your generosity it raised £181,307, including match funding! Thank you for helping us raise such an incredible amount of money in just 7 days.

It is estimated that only about 50% of people in the UK who need palliative care actually receive it. We want to bridge the gap and by donating to our Big Give Christmas Challenge Campaign (3 – 10 December) you can help us kick-start our ambitious plans.

Mark your calendars! From midday 3 to midday 10 December, we will be taking part in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge. During this week, all donations made to our campaign will be doubled meaning your gift will have TWICE the impact.

Last month, we had an incredible time celebrating 40 years of St John’s Hospice at our charity gala. The event took place in the stunning ballroom of The Dorchester and brought together 200 members of our community who helped us raise over £210,000.

As the festive season approaches, we are excited to announce the return of our annual 'Light Up a Life' celebration. This year, the event will take place on Monday 9 December 2024, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Find out more about this special event.

We are incredibly grateful to all of the wonderful individuals who choose to take on challenges to support our hospice, particularly those who do so in memory of a loved one. We recently caught up with Chris who chose to run the London 10k in memory of someone very special.
